33cl Bottle from Jopen Proeflokaal Waarderpolder. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of lactose and typical Jopen candy, some roasted malts, quite sweet. Flavour is sweet, candy, some liquorice and roasted malts, coffee and cream, sweet finish. Medium bodied, smooth. Lacks depth imho, and too much of the Jopen candy.

Bottle shared. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, oatmeal, chocolate, licorice, toffee, brown sugar and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is heavy sweet. Light full bodied with soft carbonation. [31/07/2016]

Bottle at home, black beer small head. Aroma is roasted, coffee, oatmeal, some milkiness. Taste is the same, creamy, sweet. Not bad
