Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Kenny. Pours deep brown with a frothy, khaki head. Quite oxidised. Lightly sweet, dry and ashy, some baking cocoa. Earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, toasted cardboard. So so.

Bottle shared at London Columbus tasting 25/05/2023. Thanks to Kenny for this one. A dark black brown coloured pour with a medicinal tcp, brown sugars, brown sugars. Woody, Flavour is composed nice rich ashy roast, meaty roast, ash, metal. Little harsh. Palate is semi sweet, dry roast, oily, . Good.

6th Floor bottleshare. Thanks to me. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thinnish dark malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Dusty vibe. Thin dark chocolate and thin dry cream. Modest Calvados, faded. Light dry finish. Fairly tired.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast (Calvados) ]. [ As my rating # 39997 on ratebeer ]. [ White Wax ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, calvados, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170830] 7-4-7-4-15

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of licorice. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, some ash and a touch of licorice, followed by a short, slightly roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

[5/10/16] Bottle sample at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen. Black with a brown head. Aroma is kinda boozy, with calvados, fruits, roast, coffee. Bitter roasty flavor, a bit sourish, with a sweetish note, with coffee, calvados, fruitiness, wood, and a burnt finish. Medium to full-bodied. Really good.
