On tap at BrewDog Liverpool. Deep dark brown body with a thin beige head. Aroma: rich notes of cold milk chocolate and roasted hazelnut, underpinned by light coffee and soft caramel sweetness. Flavor: smooth hazelnut and creamy milk chocolate dominate, with subtle roast in the background. No noticeable bitterness but sweet. Mouthfeel: velvety and creamy, medium-bodied, with a soft, lingering finish.

Keg at Brewdoge Camden, 30/05/2025.
Black topped with a lasting tan head.
Nose is peanut butter, mellow roast, dried fruit esters, chocolate.
Taste comprises charr, roast, molasses, balanced peanut butter, burnt toffee.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Tidy enough peanut butter stout ... good roast balance to temper the sweetness.

(Draught at BrewDog Shepherds Bush, London, 24 Nov 2024) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, nuts and caramel. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, nuts, vanilla and a balanced cacao bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. On the sweet side, but rich and tasty. Nice one.

Smells like hazelnut flavouring and it’s slightly sour in flavour, not a great combo

440ml can taken away from Beerfly, Bedford and drunk at home.mid-brown, opaque with a tiny ring of khaki head. Aroma of peanut, a little bit of chocolate. Sweet and nutty at first, then notes of cola nut, with a bitter hop note at the finish. Light note of smoke in the finish. It isn't bad, it is actually quite enjoyable, but it's fairly messy in places (especially the end).

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - mat black and a beige head. Nose - burnt bread and peanuts. Taste - roasted peanuts and dark chocolate, still bready. Palate - sickly sweet and light roastiness on the finish. Overall - not my thing!
