A low white head over a pink tinged light orange body. The nose leads with punchy grapefruit rind hops, with pine and some sweet malt. First off, this is a really fine DIPA. It’s a tale of two hops - big grapefruit led citrus punch from the citra hops and softer tropical and floral notes from the El Dorado hops. Both are big and fresh and not diminished by the added alcohol. The taste is all about the hops, but an appropriate biscuit sweet malt presence and a hint of pepper play an appropriate bit role. Really good.

Can: Poured a light hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some grapefruit notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of citrusy notes with some grapefruit notes with some residual sugar and light dry bitter notes also noticeable in the aftertaste. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation. Well brewed but malt based could a bit cleaner with some more hoppy floral undertones.

4-pack from the brewery tonight. Cloudy right from the first pour (totally looks like a homebrew). Beige head, stays on top of beer, creamy-bubbly with golden-amber murkiness. Loads of citrus and tropical juices, more on the fruity sweet side, than zest hoppiness. Caramel notes and decent grains. The taste is where the bitter part shows up with a nice dry finish. Still, lots of citrus juices, caramel base. Basically delicious! If you like the Vermont-style IPAs juiciness but with a slightly higher alcohol content... this is the one.

Q nice orange amber DIPA with a lacing off white head. In aroma, loads of resinous floral hops over biscuit malt, alcohol warmth, very nice and classic. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads resinous pungent floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and classic. On tap at brewery.
