Originally brewed for the Borefts Beer Festival, All The Leaves Are Brown is a seasonal Brown Ale brewed to imperial strength and laced with maple syrup. Pour it into a glass and you'll be treated to a wonderful aroma of caramel and treacle, and on first sip you'll get both mixed with a rich, malty sweetness, maple syrup and full, sticky mouthfeel.

Deep brown with a small, wispy head. Big notes of chewy toffee, buttery maple, chocolate, malt, a hint of roasted notes. Full bodied. Very sweet. This is delicious. I wasn’t sure going in if this would be a sweet mess or not and while it is very sweet it is a dream.

330 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 10.5%. Dark brown to black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate and loads of maple syrup. Very sweet flavour, maple syrup galore, roast malts, chocolate and oak.

Canned, 330 ml, shared with MiroB and Luka. Black with medium tan head. Some roastiness, chocolate, maple, medium sweetness.

On tap @ BPBW. Everything I got from this was some grains, detectable boozy character and a shitton of maple syrup. But all of these were in such a harmony that I didn't really want to ask for more. Huge, heavy and oily in body.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is brown malt with nuts, caramel, toffee, fudge, maple syrup, pecan, light cocoa and vanilla. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate bitterness. Body is above medium. Wow, lovely balance, lots of fudge and nuts, the hype is real.

Can from Great Grog. Pours clear dark brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of toffee, maple and hazelnut. Taste is more of the same. Well balanced, earthy finish.
Very good but short of great. BA good, beer decent

Black and viscous with a frothy, beige head. Aroma full of maple syrup , brown sugar and raisins. The effect is more in the direction of molasses than pancake house. Despite all that, more bitter than sweet up front with a strong, roasted tone leading the way. Sweeter at the end with the raisins and maple taking over, but never overly so, and the balance is the best thing going here. Full-bodied, rich and gluppity. Pleasant in a challenging sort of way.
