Nommée d’après une commune des Flandres, cette ale à la fermentation lactique murie sur cerises et en barils de bourbon de surcroît nous provient néanmoins du centre-ville de Montréal. De quoi dépayser son lot de citadins!

Looks like they’ve released some of this from the barrels and that other swarm should be an alternate entry I guess. Taster at the brewery. Zwalm Sour beer 6%
A barrel aged sour with an aroma of vinegared plums, figs and dates. Light bodied, oakey, acidic, big figs and dates fruit flavor. Very nice.

On tap at Winter Warmer: Poured a deep reddish color ale with some very sweet notes of candi sugar with light lacto presence some light funky notes. Taste is dominated by high level of candi sugar with light funky ester and some light tart notes. Way too sweet to be enjoyable, I had trouble drinking two ounces of this beer.
