Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Pours deep ruby, sparse off-white topping. Aroma has lightly sweet, caramelised malt. Taste is rich fruitcake full of currants, with plummy shades. Some fleeting caramel glimpses, some very light dark treacle. Light body.

Cask @ Alexandra Arms, Cambridge. Clear very dark brown witha beoge head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and light hoppy - pine. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 151018

Cask @ The Alexandra Arms, Cambridge. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, roast malt, fruits and hops. Oily hoppy finish.

[ As Oakham Deep Thought ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, hoppy. Cask at cloisters. Pours hazy dark amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of rich fruit cake, faint chocolate. Taste is nutty, caramel sweet. Oily texture. Sticky finish.

Cask at CPK - London. Pours clear, rich amber-brown with s tight, creamy beige head. Moderate burnt grain aroma, light roast, cocoa, dried fruits. Light sweet flavor with aggressive burnt grass bitterness, baking cocoa, scorched earth, old leathery berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes dry with more staring, somewhat harsh bitterness, more grass, toasted pine, grains, light bitter chocolate, earth, citrus peel. So so.

Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone, deep ruby black lasting white head. Hoppy black ipa style beer. Malty hoppy lovely

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 9 October 2014. Deep copper with a decent, off-white head. Citrus hop and bramble aroma, with some crisp malts and a lingering, bitter, finish. Enjoyable.
