On tap @ the brewpub. Slightly hazy brown body with an average beige head. Weak aroma of some roasted caramel. Flavor is sweet, caramel malt, slightly roasted, not much bitterness. Definitively nothing complex, but not all bad either. Nice variation.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a brown hazy color. Quite bland taste. Low hoppiness. Chocolate notes.

A clear dark brown beer with a thin brown head. In aroma, a sweet caramel malt with notes of cinnamon, light coffee, not bad. In mouth, a smooth drinkable dunkel with lightly peated notes, a bit thin but weel made. More like a schwarzbier in my opinion. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 24, 2010.

Chestnut colour with a thin head. Some haze. Rotten aroma is pure kit beer. A little bit fizzy and fairly thin. The flavours - perhaps a light note of chocolate - don’t really come out very much.
