12oz bottle labeled "Herbal Cream Ale" Brewer’s Add Series. Pours hazy butterscotch with a small white head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is honey, herbs, corn. Flavor is the same, medium sweet and quite corny with a bunch of herbal notes. Light body, creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, actually.

Brown bottle, 1 l, purchased at deVine & Wines (Edmonton), savoured on November 30 2008; eye: caramel, suspended matter, no effervescence, tiny white head, a bit of lacing; nose: malt, herbal; mouth: malt, herbal, light diluted caramel, maple water, finale in malt with a bit of spices, not much carbonation, slightly sweet, medium-light body, a bit thin, average carbonation; overall: so?

A lightly hazed golden ale with a very thin white head. A lightly herbal malt in aroma, very boring. In mouth, a rather thin blond ale, oxidized, a bit like light seven-up, no hops presence. A sad beer. Tasted Early 2007.

Very dull light bronze colour. Big, herbaceous aroma. The only one I get for sure is rosemary, but I think there’s several different herbs used. Maybe sage, too. Sweetish flavour, again with lots of herbs and a subtle background maltiness. Not particularly well-balanced and the base beer is crap but it’s effective.
