(Bottle 65 cl) Hazy, warm, amber golden with an off-white head. Fat aroma of caramel and hops. Full-bodied and sweetish with distinct notes of burned caramel and a little raw aroma hops that leave a rather unsophisticated bitterness. 100707

Bottled. Hazy amber thin light orange head. The aroma is sweet with medium notes of grapefruit, malt, and herbs. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, hops, grapefruit, straw, and light notes of alcohol. The end is quite bitter and has notes of grapefruit, but the body is a bit on the thin side.

This beer looks like trouble with a translucent ruby color and a bubbly thin white head. Very clean aroma, hoppy, citrus and soapy, but also sweet and sugary. I think my tongue felt the alcohol before a drop landed, oily, sticky mouth feel, warming with long lasting bitterness. Flavor was of pine, but also woody and sweet like caramel. Without the hops this would remind me of a barleywine. I enjoyed this.

Bomber; Nose is hoppy with some caramel malt hints coming in; hazy copper with a small beige head; flavor a nice balance of citrusy hop bitterness and caramel malt sweetness in a medium body with a nice hop finish. i suspect some of the hops may have disappeared due to it’s release 7 months ago, but it is finely balanced now.

Mostly clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malty with a dry, earthy hop touch. The flavor follows the aroma closely with sweetness and an underlying bitterness. Hides the alcohol quite well.

Clear copper color. Poured a nice creamy two inch off white head. There was excellent lacing left behind. Solid grapefruit aroma with a grainy maltiness that grows stronger as the beer warms. Nice tasting IIPA. Hop bitterness and some sweet malt hit first on the initial sip. But the flavor at this point is smooth and subtle. As the taste proceeds the hops ramp up the intensity. Just past the midway point a grainy maltiness flavor emerges but fails to overcome the big hop bitterness and slightly sweet hop flavor. I really like the big beer flavor of this big beer. Well done.

Clear copper pour, with a well-sustained head - nice blend of aromatic hops in the aroma - quite a nice flavor overall, especially for an organic beer - not abrasively hoppy like many iipas get, but a nice, full hop flavor that is well-balanced by a mild sweetness - medium-bodied and quite smooth for the style - spicy, herbal, earthy hops that are smooth going down - what more could you ask for? - well, okay, it could use a little more body, but other than that this is pretty good.

Dark orange amber ale with a thin creamy off white head. A nice pinhey malt with loads of hops in aroma, with light mint leaves. In mouth. a good rich malt with floral hops, resinous, alcohol warmth. Rich and chewy I2PA. Enjoyed with the Mtl Crew Sept. 9, 2006.

Bottle pours a hazy orange amber with a small quick light tan head. Lots of orange, grapefruit, melon and piney hops. Flavor is very hoppy but with a lot of sweet malts to balance. Earthy carmely flavors as well. Full heavy pallate. Long strong bitter trailer. Thanks Jordan.
