This wheat beer poured a light cloudy yellow colour with a frothy white head. To the nose was a full blow of fruit. Almost medicine like, cough syrup to be exact. Very hard to get around the sweet cranberry smell. Swedish berries come to mind. First sip is sweet and all I can taste is the cranberries. Still reminds me of cough syrup with a beer base. At least its not as sweet as some other fruit beer I’ve had before. This beer is a one bottle per day beer, I don’t think I could handle any more.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with a huge bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of cranberry bubblegum? mix with some strong wheat malt. Taste is very refreshing with lots of tart cranberry, strong wheat malt and some well balance sweetness from the maple. Nice mix between a wheat beer and a fruit beer. I’m starting to really like brewery.

Golden ale with a compact white head. Cherry Halls aroma, very seet and chemical. Sweet fruity tatse with more of a maraschino cherry aftertaste. Very light bodied. Tap at Pub Italia. 5-3-5-2-10
Hazy golden ale with a thin white head. Sweet cranberry aroma with light maple, very pleasant. In mouth, a tart refreshing wheat with light maple notes. A nice quaffer. Bottle bought by KP, April 2006. 7-3-7-3-13

Re-rate: April 24, Winking Judge, Hamilton: The 2004 edition of this beer has a lot more cranberry on the palate. It's refreshing, not particularly syrupy, but obfuscates the other elements. So it's a saw-off, really. I like it more because I like cranberries, but it's not as strong technically.
On tap at Smokeless Joe's. Straw colour; aroma of cranberries, almond skins, wheat; very nutty palate, tea-like at times, with hints of fruit providing an interesting backdrop. Light, refreshingly wheaty finish. Not really to my taste, but I have to respect that this is a well-structured, technically proficient, balanced beer. Ar:6, Ap:2, Fl: 6, P:4, O:12
