KOMES POTRÓJNY is a strong, top - fermenting beer with a golden colour. This traditional style was first brewed in the early 16th century following the development of the technology of producing the light malts used in its production. This invention heralded light, top-fermenting beers. KOMES POTRÓJNY is a full malt beer, hopped in open fermentation vats with the Styrian Golding variety. The beer offers a distinctly malty and rich flavour, topped with an explicit hoppy aroma. The key element in the slow maturation of Komes Potrójny is the traditional, labour-intensive method of repeat fermentation in the bottle.

Butelka 0.5l (29.01.2016 - 8 m-cy po rozlewie). Piwo wyraznie zmetnione o zlotej barwie z bialo-kremowa piana, nawet obfita ale szybko znikajaca. Lacing tez raczej marny. Aromat swiezy delikatnie owocowy z wyrazna, kwasna nuta. W smaku tez dominuje nuta kwaskowa przy czym piwo jest lekko winne, delikatnie musujace, owocowe, troche wytrawne ale to wszystko tworzy raczej mniej niz bardziej przyjemna mieszanke. Do bardzo konkretnej tresciwosci piwa, dochodzi dosc wysokie wysycenie co sprawia, ze pijalnosc drastycznie spada. Ogolnie piwo mocne, ciezkie i slabo pijalne choc alkoholu nie czuc wcale za co malutki plusik.

zapach mało wyrażny, słodowy z dzikimi nutami. kolor złoty do ciemnozłotego, klarowny. piana skąpa i dość szybko znika pozostawiając jedynie małą warstwę. w smaku słodkie, ale nie pełne, smakuje miodem, zielonym jabłkiem i kurzem. goryczka dość niska, przypomina pestki z jabłek. pozostawia dość nieprzyjemne, kwaskowate uczucie w ustach. nie czuć alkoholu. nasycenie średnie. dość spore rozczarowanie.

Bottled 500ml. -Cloudy golden coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, yeast and alcohol in the nose. Moderate malty, yeasty, spicy and alcohol with moderate caramel presence. Notes of pistachio and alcohol in the finish. Not bad.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, mild wheat, some caramel as well. Flavour is similar, but also has some spicy and floral notes to it. Good balance, but alcohol does push true a bit.

Fluffy, just off-white head, fed by lively carbonated, faintly veiled orange beer. Fine, herbal aroma, slightly grassy, slightly garden herbs & weeds; spicy and yeasty notes. Dry, herbal, grainy and grassy flavour, full of yeastesters; More "hot’" than a Be tripel. Alcohol present, even without real burn. Well-attenuated, faint slickness, lean but not watery. The blurb makes it more special than it is. Maybe not worth the voyage, but if encountered, needs to be tried. Dziękuję, Aga!

Draught. Golden colour, hazy, almost no head. Aroma is like of a poor dry sparkling white wine: mostly alcohol, green apple, no Belgian fruity aromas, no malt, no hops. Light bitterness from alcohol, no sweetness. Never again! Previous rating: Bottle with date 08.04.2015. Aroma is white wine, apples, some peach, alcohol and malt. When warmed up, alcohol becomes dominant, but it’s not unpleasant. Amber colour, frothy head with rather poor lacing. Light bitterness coming from alcohol. Average carbonation. Too small fruitiness to cover alcohol. Not bad, but rather disappointing. 5/4/3/3/15
