4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the Baird/Shiga Kogen Tap Takeover. Murky yellow with off-white head. Aromas of tropical and citrus fruit, light floral and pine. Tastes of great tropical and citrus fruit, floral notes, stone fruit, pine, a hint of alcohol. Medium body with a dry finish. Very nicely done.

Pretty nice IPA. Lots of citrus and pine. Pours golden with good head. Bitter finish. Soft carbonation. Good balance and well done for style. Impressive that it is still so fresh tasting after coming across the ocean. Tap at Churchkey.

Bottle shared at GBBF 2015, day 2 - London. Big thanks to Phil (KansaiBeerLvrs)! Pours lightly hazed yellow with a frothy white head. Juicy grapefruit in the aroma, some lemon rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with notes of pithy grapefruit, pale bread sugars, lemon rind, light dank piss. Light-medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, lightly warming, with more pale bready sweetness, pee and grapefruit. Outstanding beer. From memory, I would say this is one of the best hoppy beers I have had from Japan.

GBBF Day 2. Bottle share. Thanks to Phil (Kansaibeerlvrs) for hauling this over. Lightly hazy yellow gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and mildly crisp. Sweet floralness balances spice and lemon citrus. Little spicy tangerine. Touch of saison like herb. Spicy dry finish. A bit off the beaten track. Decent.

Bottle shared at gbbf. Many thanks to Phil. Mostly clear bright yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is nice dank lemon Hoo, petrol, spicy tangerine. Flavor is composed of light clean grainy, zippy lemon, , dank hop, resin, lemony, light onion. Great hop character. Palate is light, airy carbonation. Solid firm bitterness. Really good.

Tap re-rate at Gremlin. Great as usual, but maybe a tad boozy on the finish. Still lovely. I’ve had this so many times in bottle and on tap that it’s ridiculous at this point, but let me be clear, on tap this is the best beer in Japan pound for pound. Hazy, glowing pineapple color with no head. Huge tropical bomb nose with mango and pineapple dominating. Juice box bomb for sure. So juicy and refreshing with just enough carbonation to get the job done. Soft mouthfeel and hides the booze perfectly. Light bitter finish with more tropical fruit salad notes dominating. East coast IPA that is up there with the best of them.

Draft at BEERNISTA TOKYO 2015. Pours nice yellow, cloudy and with a well formed white top. Aroma is soft, fruity, somewhat feels full. Taste is very balanced, full and still, I am getting some wheat. Nicely hoppy and perfectly balanced. Really good stuff, went down fast.

On tap at Bungalow as Sono Juu (其の十) it pours a light gold with one cm of a foamy white head. A truly great hoppy nose juicy with herbal notes - yummy. It has a light crackery pils body with an intensely bitter hop punch with pithy grapefruit, lime, & a herbal flavor. A very solid IPA.
