Juicy, fruity, soft and smooth; punchy New World hops are what this beer is all about. Five Amarillo additions in the boil and twice dry hopped with Simcoe and Citra, delivering intensely layered tropical and citrus fruit flavours. Moderate bitterness provides a balancing ‘snap’ while soft Scottish water and a healthy dose of oats keep everything well rounded.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Cork & Cask online. Pours clear honey-gold with a fluffy, pure white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with dry and piney hop character, sun-kissed pale malts, aged citrus peel, nips of grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming finish with further piney notes, dried biscuits, lightly ripened citrus fruits. Lean and drinkable.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours light hazy deep gold with a lasting white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy and fruity, tangerine, kumquat, pineapple, papaya, guava and a splash of lemonade. The taste is firmly dry, good hit of bitterness which lingers, piney resin, pithy, zesty, waxy rind, grapefruit, kumquat, tangerine, peppery spice, lemongrass, greenness, kick of booze and some floral accents with a drying, bitter lingering finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Reminds me of kernel a bit, which is big praise. Nice stuff.
