This organic scotch ale is sweet and full-bodied, and right up your street if you're after something a bit stronger. It has whiffs of dark chocolate and taste of dark fruits.

Thick creamy beige head stayed impeccably on a near black still body. Minimal aroma of malt & iron. Medium bodied, tingly on the palate with a sharp back. Creamy malty tastes with grapes, berries & a bitter back of rye, pine & really long bitter finish. Good one

Dark brown with reddish hints, medium off-white head, ok retention and some lacing. Soft and not too vivid aroma, displays a mix of caramel and roasted malts with some red fruit notes in the back. Taste is medium to high sweet and medium bitter, kicking off with caramel and roasted malts, maybe toffee, then red fruit notes and a lightly bitter leafy hop finish. Overall perphaps a little less sweet than your usual scotch ale. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation, slightly silky. Overall simple and quite enjoyable. Nothing remarkable.
