Funky experience popping the cap on this bottle, great dark lumps come fizzing up to the top of the neck and then drop down again, Like a lava lamp on acid. Fortunately the pour disintegrates any lumps. Cloudy amber with a big cream colour head. Palate is light, decent fine carbonation. Very light fluffy malts, trace of sweetness. A little sherbet. Tangy orange and orange peel, mild hop spice. The pepper is light and a little fruity. Light finish with a modest black pepper linger. Interesting little number.

Keg at the brewpub. Translucent golden orange coloured pour with no creamy white head. Aroma is decent grassy citrus hop, pine and orange rind. Some tropical fruit on the nose as well, spicy grains and biscuit on the nose. Palate is medium bodied, little sticky hop, slightly creamy, highish carbonation. Flavour is composed of slightly grainy malts, low rye, solid citrus and earthy pine hop. Lingering pine and toasted grains. Good.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 26 Nov 2015) Amber colour with brief, frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of crisp-bread, orange peel and apricots. Malty, slightly fruity taste with citrus, orange, rye bread, a touch of pepper and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Keg at the Brewpub. It pours cloudy bright orange with a small white head. The nose is fresh, juicy, orange, mandarin, orange chewits, dried mango and light spice. The taste is crisp, bitter, earthy, spiced action, orange peel, tangerine, blood orange, pepper, waxy citrus peel and dank grassy notes with a dry, orange peel finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp, juicy and fruity. Good fun.

Keg at the Alma - Islington, London. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. Lovely juicy citrus and dank pine and tropical fruits in the aroma. Medium sweet flavor with oily citrus, bitter pine needles, grass, pale bread, some piss and mango. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous in the close, with some peach, tangerine, cat pee, melon, pale bread. A good hoppy number.
