On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma and flavour of "spicy" saison yeast and herbal hops, can't detect the blackberries. A hint of oak, moderate bitterness. A good beer anyhow.

Bottle: Poured a clear orangey/amber color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some oak presence and funky notes is quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix of tart notes with subtle blackberries, some funky notes with oak presence and a vinous finish with funky ester. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Another solid saison from this fine brewery with great mix of drinkability and complexity.

MBCC Sunday session, 'No riff raff'. Keg. Hazy yellow - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Thin and crisp palate. Thin floralness gives way to thin and bitterish seltzer. Dry finish. Thin and bitter saison doing nothing for me.
