Cask gravity at Beer Sellar Tonbridge. clear mid brown amber colour thin white head. ok condition. ok premium bitter. some yeast some creamed corn. pepper black finish. dries out. very dry hedgerow fruit premium bitter with black pepper bitter dry finish. like licking a woody dry hedge during a walk in the English countryside. decent.

Cask at the Bankers Draft, Eltham. Copper coloured pour with a white head. Aromas of sweet malt, raisin, vanilla, spice. Similar action in the flavour. Not too bad.

[Cask at The Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.) An amber pour with a tight cream head; fruity biscuity aroma; earthy malt taste with some caramel and a leafy bitterness and some treacle to finish. Lacking warmth and depth of taste.

Tried st the Royal Hop Pole, Tewkesbury. Deep amber to ruby colour with a pale tan head. Aroma is fruity plum. Taste light sweet. Medium body.

Cask (gravity) @ 32th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2015, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Long Man Inn Keeper ].Clear medium to dark brown - amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, nutty - nut peel notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, earthy, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151203] 6-3-6-3-11

Pigs Ear Day 4. Cask. Clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, modest carbonation. Carmelly malts. Ripe orange, some orange peel. Touch of apple. Light finish. Okay.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours clear copper-gold with a frothy, white head. Bready malts in the nose, light leaves, butterscotch. Medium sweet flavor with continuing buttery notes, toasty grains, mild leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Moderately bitter to close out, with further leafy hops, and lightly toasted grainy bread. A fine offering.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 04/12/15. Chestnut brown topped with a decent beige covering. Nose is fruity jam, light hop presence, spice, straw, toffee, grain. Taste comprises spice, jammy fruits, straw, biscuit malt, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying. Decent enough for style.
