Cat Sìth (укр. Кат Ші) — персонаж кельтської (шотландської та ірландської) міфології, що зображується у вигляді великого чорного кота розміром з собаку, з великою білою плямою на грудях. У деяких казках описується як відьма, здатна перетворюватися на тварину. Мешканці Шотландського нагір'я не довіряли Кат Ші, адже вірили, що він може вкрасти душу померлої людини до того, як вона потрапить до богів.
Ця версія Imperial Scotch Ale зроблена з додаванням дубових трісок, що були вимочені в ямайському ромі. Багатий аромат бісквіту та ноти карамелі додатково збагачуються солодкими нотами ванілі, спецій та дубу. Насичений та щільний смак приємно зігріває алкоголем на фініші.

Op tap bij The Scrapyard. 10% volgens het bord. Bijna zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Zoet, vanille, eik, rozijntjes, hout, hint van zalf, wat caramel, de oak chips geven ook een licht lijm-achtig karakter wat mij licht stoort. Medium body.

13/2/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of Danish pint boys, cheers. Pours almost black with a very small bubbly beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, chocolate, molasses, vanilla, light rummy woody notes. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Quite full body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Nice and subtle, liked this.

ABV: 8.4%(10.0%). Clear dark red - black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, oak, meat, alcohol - rum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet mat, dark malt, bread, roasted - chocolate, caramel, oak, light woody. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20220108]

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, dried fruit, wood and light rum. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 080122

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is close to brown. Aroma and taste are rum, dried dark fruits, malt, caramel, wood, nuts and has a nice malty finish.
