200ml shared with Ryan. Appearance: very dark brown with a nice beige head. Aroma: inky, leather, tobacco. The proper aroma for this style. Taste: along the same lines; moderately sweet, roasty, and dry. Overall: good one, very nicely balanced!

Bottle as part of a delivery from La Bierotheque, Toulouse and drunk at home. Very dark brown with a small layer of chocolate brown head. Boozy smell with cooking chocolate, molasses, Vegemite, caramel. Uncompromising. Taste is a little softer, with some sweetness turn bitter and savoury with ash, biltong, cocoa bitters. Extremely notes finish. Pily body, low carbonation. Wow. Mazout indeed.

Pours black, small tanned head. Smell is roasty, dry, bit plastic almost. 't is roasty, mild smoke? Or Hate er else is causing the' plastic' note I get. Perhaps too much roasted malts, that puts off the balance? OK. Good ( thick) body and Carbo ( low average). Decent, not great.
