Tasting glass @ Beerlovers Bar. Very dark brown, little head. Nose is vaguely watery massive old oak, huge old barrel, interesting oxidation & big overripe sweet cherry & cherry pits, soured roasted malt. Taste is low acid, big sour cacao with massive big old oak, wet oak, ancient barrel, interesting oxidation, spoiled sweet cherry, old oak,… Body is big on oxidized oak, faintly near watery. Bit much on the old oak, spoiled fruit but an interesting beer with some near overkill elements, feels like a portions of this carried quite some age.
