Can from The Made Inn Ashford and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Yes a pretty good pale ale. Some almost herb flavour. Quite light. Some pear. Some grapefruit. I suppose I expected it to be more tropical. but this is pretty damn nice. good bitter pear flavour.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours hazy bright golden - orange with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh and piney, green, melon, greengage, white grape, citrus rind and some white bread in the backdrop. The taste is dry, bitter, pine needles, green, touch herbal, pithy, zesty, peppery spice, slightly floral, citrus peel, grapefruit, greengage, melon and some pale bready malt. Finish is dry and bitter. Medium body and fine to medium carbonation. More Nelson on the aroma that taste.drinks well. Decent gear.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 08/11/20. Hazed orange with a decent lasting white cap. Nose is melon, grass, light pine tickle, orange rind, faint stoned fruits. Taste comprises gentle citric pith, grass, melon, light breads, faint weed, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close laced with balanced hop bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking pale but little in the way of Nelson elements offered here.

Mildly hazy yellowish gold beer, small white head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts bring a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring a bitterish citric edge. Not getting any real Nelson character. Smooth pine and a little floral citrus. Very modest spice in the semi dry finish. Mild citric peel bitter linger. Fine but lacking the normal Kernel magic.
