Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear orange-gold with a light, creamy head. Dry smoked malts in the aroma, some bread, ham. Light sweet flavour with notes of lightly toasted caramel, earth, smoked ham, subtle leafy bitterness. Light bodied, a little oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with some earthy bitterness, more smoked ham, leaves, dried caramel. It’s OK stuff.
