Haere Rā is a double IPA rendition of our recent Kia Ora release. Whereas Kia Ora's namesake translates as a versatile Māori-language salutation, Haere Rā is a Māori-language valediction.

Like its predecessor, Haere Rā utilizes New Zealand grown and malted Gladfield Malt—imported into the states for use for one of the first times. In your glass you hold a beer that is truly unlike any other in the United States.

Haere Rā's carefully-selected blend of Riwaka, Pacific Sunrise, and Nelson hops offers you an experience to taste the singular local flavors of New Zealand-grown ingredients. Prepare to enjoy juicy notes of passion fruit, kiwi, sun-kissed lime, and sweet citrus—all washing over your palate in a pleasing and easy-drinking disposition.

Enjoy Haere Rā in the company of those you care about, in good health and good spirits.

Can (12/17/24) shared by TJ--thanks! Cloudy yellow, trace lacing. Aroma is strong sulfurous herb with overly rip stone fruit. Taste is strong sulfurous herb (less dominant than in aroma), stone fruit with hint of white grape. A little thin texture, light bitterness. Different than your typical TH.

Can. Thank you TJ. Aroma mild herb with bold Nelson / white grapes! Flavor is a amazing rendition of the flavor. Tons of juicy white grape with a soft bitterness. Not overly sweet and shows NO sugar. Really wonderful!

Canned 12/17/24, drunk 1/11/25, thanks to Chalumeaux.
Milky/turbid. Super pale. Large, creamy, white head, well-retained.
Riwaka is in full effect and all its glory. Matchstick, white wine, heavy other mineral. You can smell the transition from Riwaka in to Nelson, with big matchstick up front transitioning to that green, "dank" spice and intensely spicy passion fruit/guava. Rich, but attenuated, honey-like malts gently support. Clean, no alcohol or twang.
Light watermelon! Lots of tropical juice. Spicy Nelson and less so the sulfur-rich Riwaka, but it's there adding a bit more spice and mineral. Juicy, with rich, honey-like malts and good attenuation. Phenomenal balance, texture, intense flavor with no twang but also proper bitterness.

Pours a hazy, banana-smoothie yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, though a bit muted. Flavor a bit more pronounced, with moderate hop bitterness along with the citrus and tropical fruit elements. Soft, soft mouthfeel.
