Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Paramount, Manchester. Deeper clear golden with a creamy head. It has a mild scotch-malty influence to a fuller hoppy ale in the main.

Cask at the Gordon Highlander, Inverurie. It pours clear brown with a thick, fluffy off-white head. The aroma is wood, resin, spicy, brown bread, toasted nut and toffee. The taste is dry, nice level of bitterness, resin, wood, earthy, spicy, brown bread, biscuit, light varnish, toasted nut and dull toffee finish is spicy - bitter and drying. Medium body and decent, fluffy carbonation. Flavourful and moreish. Nice stuff.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Amber with a thick beige head. Spicy up front with some toffee and a hint of marzipan. Crackly autumn leaves, a touch of orange and a slightly dry finish. Decent stuff. Oddly this is officially my first rye beer according to Ratebeer even though I've had loads before - Joet and co really need to get the auto style reallocation done!
