Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Elusive Cheat Mode ].Clear medium brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, oat. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, wodd, oat, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161129] 5-3-6-3-12

Pigs Ear Fest. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light and dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, tangy. Some dark chocolate and a little raisin. Light dry finish. Not too bad.

Cask at Pig’s Ear Fest, Hackney, London. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes pretty much the same, roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel, sweet. Nice stout.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’16, 29/11/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decen tan covering. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, chocolate, dark malts. Taste carries a light aniseed rasp, chcolate biscuit, toffee fudge, dark fruit cake. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Ok stout.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose dirty tan head. Aroma is caramel nutty roast and a little earrh. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, chilli pepper, vanilla, fruit cake. Brown sugars. Palate is rounded semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Decent. Brown ale?

Draft at a Pigs Ear Fest. Dark and bitter, silky smooth body. Flat pour, roast grain aroma w I think minor sweet notes. Taste also features the bitterness up front.

Cask at the Egham Beer Festival, 11/11/16. Light malt aroma. Dark, let down by a thin head. Sweet, with a slightly sour finish. Light bodied. (Deleted my original rating, as it had been listed as Konami Code at the fest.)

Cask at Pigs Ear 2016 - London. Pours reddish brown with a foamy, off-white head. Burnt leather in the nose, aged berries, dry cocoa, earth. Light sweet flavour with mild cocoa, subtle roast, more dried berries, a little earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately dry in the finish, with more sweet chocolate, aged fruits. Fine.

Cask at Pigs Ear. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, pretty sweet, dark chocolate, chocolate cake, umami, liquorice and toffee. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, chewy, roasted malt, chocolate cake, maltesers, mild acidity, coffee, earth, mild acidity and toasted grain with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad at all. Quaffable.
