Tap at the brewery. Very nice. Biscuity malt base, nice and fruity as well. Citrus, grapefruit and lemon, bit of tropical lingering too. Some earthiness. Good stuff.

Bottle from Fresh Fields Market, Croydon. It pours lightly hazy golden amber with a small, bubbly white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, earthy, spicy, papaya, guava, pine, dirt and grassy dankness. The taste is bitter, pine, spicy, dankness, grass earth, grapefruit rind with a dry, earthy/spiced finish. Lingers for a good long while. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not quite up there with the top echelon of Kernel APA, but very well balanced and drinkable. Very solid.

Keg at the brewery. Nice looking clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is clean citrus, white bread, mellow tropical fruit, mango, melon. Flavour is composed of clean, semi crisp base malts, grassy lemon hop, super fresh, little pithy grapefruit rind. Assertive clean citrus bitterness. Lingering citrus. Palate is light and refreshing, semi crisp, semi dry finish. Super fresh and very well balanced.

Very hazy amber - gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Hops are mellow orange and orange peel, a little livening lemon. Mild hop spice. Finishes light and crisp. Hop spice linger. Not a shouty pale ale from Kernel but nicely joined up and very drinkable,

Bottle at home in London - picked up from the brewery last weekend. Pours clear, bright gold with a frothy white head. Great aroma, with subtle dankness, some dried orange, grapefruit, pine and grass. Light-medium sweet flavor with dry bready pale malts, pithy citrus fruits, some piney bitterness, melon. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Great balance in the finish, soft oily resins, some orange, mellow bready sugars, tangerine, pine. Outstanding.

Huge thanks to jackl! Half liter bottle bottled 30.06.15. Hazy amber, thin fizzy white head, decent retention. Aroma of candied citrus, tropical fruit, pine, pale malt and a bit of caramel. The taste is toasted malt, spicy, piney hops, a bit of candied citrus in the finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness, well balanced.
