Keg at LBL. It pours clear bright golden with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, lemon rind, herbal, minerals, straw and stone fruit. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, big lemon character, minerals, cracker, straw, grass and herbal vibes with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Interesting aspects, but I wouldn’t want to chug a pint down.

Keg at London Beer Lab, 04/08/17. Pale blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is lemon rind, straw, toasted grains, grass. Taste comprises mellow citric notes, bread, grains, lemon rind, grassy, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Not offensive but not a lot doing.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 21 May 2017) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head.Malty, herbal nose with notes of bread, toast, orange peel and floral hops. Malty, herbal taste with flowers, a touch of yeast, toast and a balanced floral bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, with an interesting floral character, but possibly a bit unbalanced. Quite nice.

Draft @ ML Fontainas.
