(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels, 20 Oct 2018) Amber colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, caramel and grainy malt. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange peel, candy sugar, apricots, caramel and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Not the most complex tripel, but tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Thanks to the RB crew for sharing! Sampled draft @ BXLBeerFest 2018! Clear orange, little head. Nose is dull sweet grain, plastic cereal & sugar. Grainy cereal, orange, soapy, empty bland cereal meh.

6 3 7 3 13Draft at BXL Beerfest ‘18, Brussels. Hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of green weedy and herbal hops, grass and caramel malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: fruity, sweetish and sugary impressions, floral, some caramel, malty, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, lots of caramel, sweet malts, bit acidic, funky. Aftertaste: bit sourish, acidic, lemony, malty, cow fodder, funky, bit dirty, metallic, bitterness.

Bxlbeerfest. Pours amber. Aroma is fruity, sugary. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, sugar. Overall: way too sugary, drinkable.

At BXL festival. Almost clear dark golden with off white head. Apple, sweet grains, light orange juice, very yeast, weird bitter herbs, light bready. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Pfff.

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di speziato, sottobosco e agrumato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta ed è persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta opalescente. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra impegnativa e di spessore al palato. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi, uvetta bagnata nel rum, alcol presente, frutta tropicale e frutto della passione.

Sampled @ Brassigaume 2017. A clear deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, belgian yeast. Taste of strong grainy malt, cereals, belgian yeast.
