Bottle at level 42. It pours dark brown with a thick beige head. The nose is fresh, bitter - sweet, Terry’s chocolate orange, sherbet, candied peel and mango. The taste is bitter, roasted malt, coffee grounds, umami, rocky road, ashy, fruit cake, chocolate and orange with a dry, roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Cheers for this one! Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. Great aroma, with toasted biscuits, light roast, pithy grapefruit poking through. Medium sweet flavour with good citrus qualities, light piney bitterness, some orange rind. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Good balance on the finish, with more toast, light chocolate, subtle resinous pine, cocoa. Excellent CDA.

Nice and tasty bipa!
Almost complete black, and a fine beige head. Ok lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry texture. Pine, grapefruit hoppy, coffee, mild roast, licorice, mild tropical fruity and some chocolate.
[On tap at Clove Hitch / 23 Club in Liverpool, England]

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at Chapel Lane, Wythall, Birmingham’ish’ Saturday 5th March 2016 Citrussy on the nose, dark hazy brown in colour with a sticky, lacy off white head. Smooth it’s a little ashy, roasty, citrussy in the mouth, it’s a fruity decent BIPA, Cloudwater do better but this is solid. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours black, small tan head. Aroma is dark malts and pine. Taste is remarkably smooth and light for the ABV. Dark malts, charcoal, chocolate all wafting about with some light pine hop circling over the top. Good.

Keg at mother kellys. Opaque dark brown black coloured pour with a thin lasting light tan head. Aroma is BIG diesel, dank hop, pine, kerosene. Little brown toasted Malts. Very interesting. Flavour is composed of brown bread, slightly tangy, choc and dank hop, little grain. I dig it. Palate is medium light, powdery, highish carbonation
