Picture Pot is a blend of three brews produced in May/June of 2017. One wort fermented in our coolship before maturation in oak, the other two entirely in barrel.
We dry-hopped the resulting pale beer withwhole leaf Celeia, EKG and Amarillo.
Drink young for fresh hop aromatics. If aged, expect increasing brettanomyces funk.

22nd Oct 2018, Shrewsbury Beer Sharing Group meeting. Thanks Miks for this 750ml cork and caged bottle; BB June 2028. Misty golden pour, white topping. Sour and acidic brew, not my thing at all. We are talking rotting citrus fruits on a soggy wooden pallet sort of aroma and taste. Strangely the other four in the tasting group loved it! I am the only one with a sweet tooth it would seem.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie Oct '18. Thanks to Mike for this. Misty gold, small white head. Heavenly floral funky aroma, excellent depth of flavour, fresh zesty, floral balanced. Great stuff.

Keg at indy man beer con. Session 2. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting white head. Aroma is nice layered sour, funk, lacto and horsey funky apricot.. Palate is medium sour, prickly, spritzy carbonation. Flavour is composed of dired lemon, pithy citrus, lemon shurbet.. Nice complexity. Great.

Keg at IMBC 2018, session 2. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Quite dry, with moderate acidity, pale wood, peach, lemon. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Dry, quenching finish, more peach, woody dryness. Solid.

Keg at IMBC. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is fragrant, floral, must, funky, soft ripe stone fruits, candied peel, funk and a twist of sherbet. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, straw, bright acidity, bit of sherbet, floral, lemon peel, granny smith apple, lemon verbena, straw and gooseberry with a dry finish.. Medium body and fine prickly carbonation. Pleasant puckering action. Nice nuances to it.
