De Finse brouwerij Coolhead was op tour in Nederland en kwam bij ons op bezoek. Samen brouwden we deze collab: een subtropische New England Double IPA met de mooiste hops uit Nieuw-Zeeland. Motueka en Riwaka geven heerlijke smaken van perzik, papaya en limoen.

0.33 l can from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', canned in June 2024. Very hazy, orange with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, slightly dank aroma of mango, passion fruit, some papaya and hints of pine. Gently sweet, rather fruity, slightly juicy and a bit dank taste of mango, papaya, orange, some passion fruit and hints of pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice DIPA, nice flavours, good mouthfeel.

(Draught at Walhalla, Amsterdam, 20 July 2024) Cloudy golden orange colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with pine needles, grapefruit, pineapple and mango. Fruit, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, pine needles, pineapple, grass, white bread and a balanced citric/herbal bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh, hoppy and tasty.Very nice.

Op tap bij Walhalla. Troebelgele kleur, romige witte kraag. Citrusschil, ingelegde citroen, mango, hoppig, glad, zacht, geel fruit, lichtbittere finish. Lichte tot medium body. Goed.

Can in the garden, from Sterk, Amsterdam, 3rd August 24. Pours a hazy yellow orange. Aroma is earthy, citrus, candy. Taste is oranges and citrus, pithy, quite punchy. Good
