12 oz. can from H.E.B. Plus, Boerne, TX. Pours a surprisingly dark brown color with a thick light tan head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Standard fall spices aroma. The taste follows the nose: Darker than average malt, with an appropriate amount of spices, and some dark caramel and brown sugar in the finish. Very good balance. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Very clean and smooth. Easily repeatable. The 6.5% ABV is completely invisible. Great beer. A new fall favorite!

Strong pumpkin pie aroma, orange brown color. Starts sweet with pumpkin pie cinnamon flavor and quickly turns to a toasty flavor like overcooked pie crust.

12 ounce can. Translucent cola brown color. Large frothy tan head. Aroma is toasted malt, squash and mild spice. Flavor is caramel malt, pumpkin, cinnamon and allspice. Creamy mouthfeel. Somewhat light bodied for a dark ale. Not your typical pumpkin brew.

Can. A- Tomato, bready. A- Brown color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Bland, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, vegetal finish. O- This was odd. Perhaps overrated or maybe a bad can. I get little pumpkin and certainly no spice. This was just like bland.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a off-white head, fairly thin and barely covering the top. Aroma of squash, allspice, canella, coriander seed and cloves with a lot of malt and body noticeable and perhaps even more spices with a light sweetness noticeable as well. Medium-bodied; Strong rich spices noticeable with a good deal of squash noticeable and some dry notes with roast and caramelised sugars, but the allspice and canella notes are the strongest spices here. Aftertaste shows the deep squash with a lot of robust qualities, especially body, but the molasses, caramelised sugars and spice notes are by far the strongest. Overall, a nice and very well-rounded squash-based beer with all the body that you'd expect, but the sweetness, spicey qualities and complexity show through. Very nice for the season and a spice-based beer that perhaps should be sampled all the time. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 25-September-2020 for US$2,42 sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-November-2020.

Pumpkin, yeast, allspice nose. Brown, medium tan head. Allspice, soil, nutmeg, pumpkin. Medium body, easy carbonation. Great Divide does certain things exceptionally well, like hoppy IPAs and big stouts. When they venture outside of those things, it seldom goes well. This is one of the latter. Good, not great. I usually expect great from GD.
