Russian Imperial Stout
Una cerveza que no olvidarás, una vez la pruebes soñarás con enrolarte en el oscuro ejército tovarisch. De profundo color negro opaco de cuerpo medio alto y cremoso. Marcado aroma tostado y torrefacto que se envuelve en toques licorosos y de frutos secos. Contundente y compleja en sabor con predominio de notas a café y chocolate con un amargor ligero y sutil en retrogusto.

7 3 8 3 16 Bottle shared at Murphy’s Law. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of rich malt, roast, licorice, dark chocolate and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and above moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at International Beer Bar, Zurich. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit. Taste is roasted malt, dark fruit, chocolate, nuts, alcohol. Very nice.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry and bitter black chocolate notes with light coffee notes is more intense then expected. Taste is a mix of bitter chocolate notes with dry bitter notes with light coffee notes. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Enjoyable but a lot dryer then most of the American counterpart.

On tap at Beeryard 2017. Pours dark brown with large beige head. Nice, chocolate, coffee, roasted, licorice, caramel, sweet, alcohol well hidden. Bit sticky and just a bit too sweet for my taste. Full bodied.

schenkt zwart met fijne licht bruine kraag. aroma komt vol binnen, volmoutig, dikke zwarte chocolade, lactose, vanille, erg goed, gebrande en geroosterde mouten, koffie. Smaken zijn dik, geroosterd en gebrand, donkere chocolade, vanille, iets van kokos, alcohol, iets scherps, redelijke co2, zoethout, laurier, ok, maar de BA variant is nog een klasse beter, vol, dik en romig en wordt met het opwarmen van het bier alleen maar beter en beter, erg goed.. --- Beer merged from original tick of Aupa Tovarisch on 15 May 2018 at 20:21 - Score: 8

On tap at BeerYard 2 Zagreb. Black coloured, small to medium sized brown head, mild chocolate in the nose. Heavy roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice and notes of caramelwith touch of wood and alcohol in rather dry finish. Really good brew.

On tap at BeerYard 2. Pitch black, tiny brown head. Raisins, cocoa, heavy maltiness, soft aroma. Raisins, malty, cocoa, soft, lean taste, quite balanced and lovely, bit salty, sticky, light alcohol, very good! Excellent even. Actually, on first try didn't hit me as that fantastic, but a lucky second try (had it poured instead of the Random 88) raised the taste into "wow" levels. The reputation is well deserved here, well done Txus!
