Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clearish gold with a fine, white foam head. Some pale, sweet and bready malts in the nose, light tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with white bread and more citrus, especially tangerine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light sticky sweet finish, standard pale malt sweetness, lemon, tangerine. Very drinkable if not exceedingly deep.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 23 Apr 2013) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, apples and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with apple juice, citrus, grapefruit and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. The apple character was a bit unexpected, but the beer is quite enjoyable.

Cask at Grove Inn, Hudds. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The nose is icing sugar, straw, dough and farmyard. The taste is bitter-sweet, icing sugar, straw, bitter pine, pith citrus, soap, toilet cleaner and alcohol with a bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. I really don’t appreciate the sweetness in this beer. Odd stuff indeed.
