Deep crisp and clear copper coloured body with a thinnish, just off-white head, only a centimetre or so tall. Aroma of strong malts, crisp caramelised sugars and a good dose of very light fruitiness with some pear and apple notes and ending with some dry floral scents as well, but fairly mild throughout. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Strong, malty and lightly fruity notes that show a good punch and depth from seemingly just malt notes with a light sweetness from some caramelised sugars and a tiny hint of nuts coming through the cracks. Aftertaste shows a nice subtle fruitiness coupled with the grainy, very light spice notes of allspice and really showing the biscuity and nutty malt flavours that really shine, especially at the end, but really throughout the entire beer. Overall, a relatively straight-forward and easy-drinking, very malt forward marzen without any real complexity or depth, but the malt and very light spices shine through and some subtle nuts and caramelised sugars are noticeable throughout. Nice enough to sample, but not a great beer nor a marzen worth searching out to try to find. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Newport News, Virginia on 17-November-2019 for US$1,67 sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-September-2020.

Reviewed from notes.
I had this during a work trip in the Virginia area last Autumn.
The appearance was a nice light gentle amber color with a decent transparency about it letting in enough light to see some carbonation rising at a decent pace. The head was about a finger’s worth and gently died to a slight little hill in the center of the beer. Some light lacing stuck around the sides of the glass.
The smell had a good amount of caramel malts along with some pilsner malts invading my nose.
The taste was basically sweet around the caramel and pilsner malts.
On the palate, it sat fairly light and displayed a decent sessionable quality running about it. The carbonation was somewhat smooth and watery.
Overall, for the most part, this was a pretty good brew that I ended up having several of and had it with some pretzels. It made for a nice memorable Autumn afternoon watching football.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear, slightly darker, but still light amber color with a small white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, and a nice spice hop character to it. Flavor was malty, sweet malts, well balanced for the style, relatively enjoyable.
