Despite the beer name Sir Billy Boston remains the only Rugby League Knight. It will happen though. This session ale is golden-blonde, hoppy in the main with a sweetness in aroma, and some in aftertaste. Easy-drinking.

Handpull cask at the Beer Shack, Hucknall. Light to mid-golden and clear with an uneven froth of white head. Grassy aroma, light citrus, some bready malt. Tastes amazing, briefly sweet with notes of apricot, changing quickly to a keen hoppy bitterness..light to medium body, soft carbonation. A nice cask pale ale.

Cask at the Peterborough Beer and Cider Festival 2024 with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is stone fruit, grainy, malty, straw and citrus. Became more mucky in the the glass. Did not taste much better. Disappointing.

[Cask (gravity pour) at the Basingstoke Beer Festival 2024] Amber pour; and a citrusy aroma; grainy body with perhaps a slight peachy taste (I was expecting more from the Nectaron hops).

21/8/2024. Cask at the 45th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is musty, citrus, straw, biscuit, herb, slight mucky edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Light to moderate body, watery, soft carbonation. Didn't seem right.
