Cellar clean out session Pt Deux. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, fairly mellow. Little creamy sweetness. Touch of tangy dark chocolate. Light dry finish. Decent but at the end of the day - just another stout.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown, with a reddish hue and a beige head. Sweet roast character, a little nutty. Malty, sweet body, some licorice and again your typical Thisted metallicness. But drinkable at least. 300516

Bottle, 6.0%. Ashy aroma, hint of roast barley and salt. Black colour, seems clear. Big light brown head, fairly stable. The flavour is roasted and salty with more than a touch of liquorice in the finish. Good mouthfeel. The aftertaste is ashy, not as pleasant as the flavour.

Bottle. Pours hazy coffee brown with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of roast, with notes of malt and touches of caramel. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweetish, estery and malty notes and touches of caramel and hops. Roasty and slightly metallic aftertaste. Low carbonation, actually too low. Not impressive but drinkable.
