Draft at the Lewes brewery taproom. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, pineapple citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, tart juicy pineapple, light sweet vanilla, hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

2nd June 2023
Can. Sorachi Ace (Hurrah!), Sabro, Azacca and Citra hops. A light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a decent fine minerally crispness. Slightly thin malts but delivering a nice light creamy sweetness. Lovely Sorachi, quite light here, that soft floral lemon goes spiffingly well with the equally light coconut and slightly richer pineapple of Sabro. Azacca tangerine and mandarin bringing up the back end along with stalwart Citra goodness. Light finish brings a mild hop nip. Lovely choice of hops, delivered well. Could drink this all night.

440ml can as part of a delivery from Ghost Whale and drunk at home. Light yellow, slightly hazy, decent white head which dissipates, leaving heavy lacing. Lovely fruit cocktail atoma, some melon and pineapple along with soft peach. Sweet and creamy taste, but the balance is fine with light bitterness in the short finish. It's a nice drink, maybe a little dull, but very pleasant.

Can from Trafalgar Wines, consumed on the beach. It pours hazy golden with a decent white head. The atoma is sweet, juicy, tropical fruit vibes, tangy papaya, mango salsa, orange chewits and peach. The taste is dry, decent hit of bitterness, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, orange peel, tropical fruits, papaya, um bungo, spicy, grassy, straw, touch of pine and nip of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Works rather well.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Don't mention golf to him! Appearance - clear golden with a big fluffy head. Almost a surprise these days to not have a murky IPA. Nose - pineapple, gorse, slight but not intrusive resin. Taste - more pineapple, lemon custard. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Nice long taper on the finish, which is hoppy bitter though a touch sticky. Overall - good.
