7/11/2023. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is boozy, dusty, cocoa powder, chocolate, dark malts, dried fruits and nut. Moderate sweetness and aged bitterness. Medium bodied, quite smooth, average carbonation. Boozy bitter cocoa finish. Warmed to it.

Bottle split a the 2nd CBJ tasting, thanks to Seth, 31/08/23. Dark mahogany brown with light khaki head. Nose is umami, soy, dark malts, spice, stewed fruits. Taste comprises dark malts, toffee, oxidised notes, dates, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Not bad for the age.

Bottle shared in London. Cheers to Seth. Pours murky red-brown with no head. Moderate sweetness, some tangy berries, a little earth, light booze. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow warmth to finish. Has aged OK.

Craft Beer Junction bottleshare. Thanks to Seth. Slightly hazy red amber beer, small tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, quite light, modest fine carbonation. Dry but rich caramel malts, slightly aged papery vibe. Very ripe fruits. Light and dry finish. Tasty if obviously aged.

Shared 1 pint bottle, brewed in 1992. Dark brown colour, no carbonation. Nice aroma, malts, molasses, prunes and other dark dried fruits, pleasantly oxidised. The flavour, however, was salty and unpleasant, clearly \"off\".

Shared bottle numbered 33.182 at RB/HD at Ganddal 15.02.19. Cloudy dark brown. No head. Sour aroma of cigar box and sour dark malt. Similar taste, with figs, marzipan and sour berries. An interesting novelty beer.

Notater fra en hyggelig RBHD-kveld i Ovesens flaske museum feb-19: 0,57 flaske. Mørkebrun uten skum. Ufrisk aroma og smak, denne er langt forbi sin bb-dato, selv om den har noen portvinsvinøse trekk. Litt sur og salt?
