Magnum shared at Craft Beer Junction - picked up from BS online. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Light sweet flavour with nice pale wood, white pepper, mellow funk, soft lemony tang. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Clean finish, lightly funky, more peppery notes, mild citrus peel, drying pale wood. Mighty good.

Magnum big thanks to Kenny at BD BoD... It pours clear golden with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is musty, farmyard, funky, granny smith, white grape, gooseberry, hay, sherbet, refreshers, gummy bears, midget gems, spice and oak. The taste is drying, oak, tannin, sherbet, spritzy, lemon, pomelo, musty, oak, gooseberry, minerality, damp wood, leathery, spicy, toothy, granny smith apple, white grape, gooseberry and hay with a very drying, tannic finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Maybe a bit too tannin and drying if I'm being picky.

Magnum via the brewery online shop. Third time doing this on Christmas Day. Light haze on a medium gold. Decent white foam. Nose has tart apple. Clean malts. White wine. Some barrel funk. Taste is light tart, with a soft, vinous bitterness. Easy drinking to the tune of it disappearing tout suite. Stood up in between lots of other good bevs.
