Dark sweet and roasted malty with lots of opulent chocolate, some sweet caramel, blueberry coming in with a lick of vanilla, great bourbon character here, full bodied, blueberry accented warming bourbon infused dark malty lingering finish. Gorgeous.

Bottle shared at the CBJ tasting, thanks to Dave, 12/06/24. Black with a tan cap that clears to the edge. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, molasses, mellow barrel tunes. Taste comprises dark malts, sweet edge, hint of red berries, chocolate, molasses, mellow barrel. Full bodied, oily viscous as fuck feel, semi drying close with a blast of alcohol. Tidy enough sipper but a little unbalanced ... too hot and sticky and a touch 1D.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to Dave. Pours black-brown with a slim, creamy tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour with some rich and syrupy dark mats, raisins, meaty dark malts, vanilla syrup. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sticky sweet, dark malts, stewed dark fruits. Enjoyable.

Bottleshare at CBJ, thanks to Wingman.. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft rich dark malts, a decent dark malt creamy sweetness. A light ripe blueberry tang adds dimension as does the barrel aging. Spicy finish. Good stuff.
