Bottle shared at CBJ - many thanks to Wingman. Pours clear brown with a small, foamy off-white head. Richly sweet with layered semi-dark malts, stewed fruits, dates, berries, figs, toffee, toasted bread, nips of bourbon, raisins. Full bodied, oily and lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming and sticky in the finish. Subtle earthy hops. A fine sipper.

Bottle thanks to Wingman. Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts but super rich in flavour. Good caramel and toffee, a little creamy sweetness. Lovely bourbon, light but rich fruity spice. Vanilla and coconut. Light spicy finish. Delicious.
