Showcasing a blend of German and American hops, we aimed to brew an easy-drinking beer that combines the classic German lager tradition with the hop-forward character of more modern US styles. We hopped with the German variety, Perle, which gives pleasant hints of grass, and combined with the American, Talus, for a well-balanced combination of citrus and floral flavours with pine and resinous notes.

Thursday 16th October 2025. Cobweb tasting session with four friends, almost every beer being very old or just 'out of date' (mostly very old). My place being the venue. Cheers Simon for the 330ml bottle of this, only 15 months out of date. Poured a slightly hazed golden colour, white crust. Light hop front with a little citrus leaning, still OK but 'on the turn'.
