Cask at the white lady. Pours clear golden amber, thick white head. Aromas are sandalwood, pine, resin. Taste brings the spice notes, more woodiness. Creamy texture, bitter, chewy finish. Possibly the best beer I’ve had from this brewery.

On cask at The New Inn in Coldingham. Appearance - dark golden to orange. Decent head. Nose - malt and oranges. Taste - malt and hint of biscuits and toffee. Some spice. Slightly over astringent malt on the finish. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a dry but slightly astringent finish Overall - decent but would’ve liked some slightly sweeter notes in the middle and finish of the palate.

Cask at the Bear (JDW), Maidenhead. Golden amber with a thin white head; fruity aroma with a touch of antiseptic; rather medicinal taste with some fruity malts; then a dry spicy finish leaving a malty caramel aftertaste. Rather odd.
