Cask at the Falcon (JDW), Wycombe. Amber with a white head. Nice full mouthfeel on this one, showing why cask is by far the best way to serve bitter. Caramel up front with a hint of lemon and some rustic straw. Blackberries come through too. A decent bitter, enjoyed it.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear brown amber colour lasting cream head. Mid malty brown bitter. Malty aroma. Light bitterness on the finish. It's a slightly non interesting brown bitter. OK.

Family gathering at my place on Saturday 23rd November 2024, shared a few beers with Andy (AndyTF2), this being one of them. 500ml bottle from Stan's: BBE March 2025. I like Welsh Bitter's, almost always malty and decent colour, this slotted right in. Clean amber in colour, and semi-sweet throughout, nice!

500ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, nutty, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, light toffee caramel, nutty, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Half-pint, gravicask, shared with Finn at The International Brewing & Cider Festival 2024. Bubbles on the surface of a clear dark amber body. Stewed fruity aromas with earthy malts, promising. Biscuit, earth and slightly jam-like fruit to the taste profile. Malt-fruity ending with distant bitterness. Decent. (Manchester, 23.03.2024).

Delt med Rune på The International Brewing & Cider Festival 2024, Manchester. Mørk stråfarget. Klar. Luftig filmskum med litt farge. Kjeksaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Fin bitter avslutning.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] An amber pour with a thin cream coloured head; fruity malt aroma; bready malt body with some purple fruit; then a touch of herbal bitterness before a sweet fruity finish. Not bad.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear amber with a thick off-white head. Aromas of light toffee and malted milk biscuit. Taste has some fruity hop, close to red berries. Caramel, light sweet finish.
