getrunken in einem Kartoffelrestaurant neben dem Fernsehturm am Alexanderplatz In einer modernen Stadt wie Berlin mit so einem altmodischen Bierstil zu kommen, wirkt etwas unpassend. So auch das Bier: es ist zwar angenehm mild, aber bleibt trotzdem herber als die süddeutschen Zwickl. Im gesamten Körper wirkt es etwas wirr, so dass man es nicht als fad bezeichnen kann, aber auch nicht als wohlgeformt. Nix für mich.

Tap. Milky yellow, fluffy lace. Dry yeast nose, light fruit. Medium light body, mellow mouthfeel. Light grainy malt base, grassy hops, balanced to boredom. Light body, quick finish.

Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. Piwo ma ladna poczatkowo niewielka piane ale w koncu rosnie jak na drozdzach. Puszysta i niebywale trwala, mocno oblepia grube szklo kufla Holby. Bardzo metniste, jaskrawe i cytrusowy zapach, Smakowo jak skorka od ziemniakow ktore dlugo lezaly w wilgotnej piwnicy. Wiec ziemistosc tu jest, troche tez swiezego orzecha laskowego w lupinie.Dobre i zaskoczylo mnie ze az tak dobrze bedzie w piwie z Berlina.

Fra flaske på ølsmagning "Bayern vs. Berlin" (DØE København Nord) sep-17: lett uklar strågul med ok skum. Slank og halvtørr med mildt krydret bitterhet, men litt for mye "kokte grønnsaker" til at den slår an hos meg.

Bottle, thanks to Arif. Pours hazy pale yellow with small foamy white head that dissolves rapidly, bread aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter malty taste, thin watery body, medium dry finish. Nothing special.

[ As Berliner Kindl Zwickel ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, hay, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, grass, vegetables, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
