Cask at the brewery. Nice, loads of funk and weirdness, cream cheese, surprisingly nice. Good stuff. Soft and great. Very surprised!

Cask at Crate. It pours clear deep mahogany brown with a decent yellow-white head. The nose is rich, woody, varnish, dried fruits, fruit cake, leather, light spice, pine and toffee. The taste is bitter, piney, varnish, peppery, grapefruit rind, leather, brown bread, fruit cake and light toffee with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and pretty tasty. Decent stuff.

Handpump at Crate Brewery Tap, Hackney Wick, Saturday 2nd May 2015 Rich reddy amber with a white film across the top. Some dusty hop a little juicy but has very little else to shout about, in fact it is a little bit thin. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
