Bottle thanks to Matt! Pours cloudy peach to darker, small white head. Aroma is definitely floral, oak, funk, brandy. Flavor is medium plus tart, light plus funk, a hint of nail polish remover. Medium body. Eh.

(Bottle sample @ CBC 2016 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours deep amber with a decent sized off white head. Nose of sourdough pastry, caramel malt, strong nutty notes, musty, relatively subtle beyond that nutty pastry. Flavour is moderately acidic, lots of nutty notes and oak, a bit of cheesy funk, underripe apricot, lemon, not terribly sour nor zesty. Finish is very dry, with musty cellar notes and oak. Medium bodied. Interesting one, but I didn’t find it grabbed me terribly strongly.

Bottle - Funky oak and stone fruit. Cloudy gold with a small head. Tart and some stone fruit, touch of citrus acidity and a long fruity finish. There is a weird off fruity note, overripe and earthy.

Hazy, light tan. Not much head. The aroma shows that typically sharpe De Garde lactic. Very tart. Has a lot of lactic sharpness. Not wild in any way...just sharp. Maybe a touch of brett, okay. Limited in terms of nuance, but not a whole lot of complexity. Wish I could pull more of the unique barrel character out of this.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with loads of sediment and a small white head. Aroma brings out considerable barnyard funk, followed by brandy and sherry barrel character. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of funk, brandy and sherry barrels. Okay, funky and lightly acidic. Not a lambic, but this is excellent.
