Poured from a 16 oz can dated November 4, 2019. Aroma is hop forward with balanced fruity and resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and a touch of alcohol. Lots of tropical fruit, gooseberry, melon and citrus with some dank resin and faint pine. Pours a hazy, dull, gold color with a medium large, thick, white head that falls into itself and lingers in clumps on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with medium light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and a touch of alcohol spice. Lots of gooseberry, tropical citrus, melon, lychee, and mango with lighter notes of pine and dank resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer. Great NZ hop notes with good fruitiness and balanced dank notes.
